And I bet Bush didn't take a signifigent fraction of MAC (well it used to be MAC :)) to get him there either. Just AF1 and few fighter escorts, and of course a few tankers. AWACS would have already been up anyway, most likely.
Wonder if they had to refuel in the air, or can AF-1 make it Andrews to BIA non-stop? The escorts would need to be refueled, or work in relays from bases along the way.
