What is not commonly known is that when military sharpshooters test-fired "Oswald's" rifle, they were unable to bring the scope into alignment until they inserted a metal shim under the scope.

I'm sure Oswald was very, very careful to lay the rifle down on the floor so the scope would not be disturbed. < Sarcasm >
