Nice try... But since JFK had his head blown out backwards, it would preclude the possibility of Oswald being the "lone gunman."

The shooting of President John F. Kennedy was not a political conspiracy but an almost spontaneous act by a troubled man who wanted attention, the brother of Lee Harvey Oswald says. Of course he said that. It's all part of the conspiracy, people!

The BS the conspiracy nuts want people to believe, is that Robert Oswald would ignore evidence that would clear his brother.
It's just plain crazy.

It's just plain crazy. It was physically impossible for it to have been the work of just one man. Consider the physics- look at the Zabruder film. Even better, try to fire three bullets from a bolt-action rifle, and fire accurately over that distance at a moving target. I have friends who are professionals at such skills, and even they can't do it....
Therefore, since Oswald could not have done it alone, it is, by definition, a conspiracy. That you fail to recognize the realities of what I have told you, doesn't mean I'm crazy- just that you are uneducated as to the facts.

Well, if the word of a famous (or infamous) man was all we needed to convince us of the truth then Bill Clinton better do something about his brother's big mouth.

Undoubtedly, he came to this conclusion after close study of the transcripts of those 12 - 18 hours of interrogation by the Dallas Police Department. He probably also spent innumerable hours listening to the recordings that the Dallas Police Department made of all those hours of interrogation.
WHAT? No recordings? No transcripts? Not even a stenographer's notes on those hours of questioning? Hmmm. The cops must have been too busy finding a way to get Ruby back into a decent shooting position, since Ruby failed to shoot Oswald when the cops let him into Oswald's "press conference".

No it wasn't not at all.Your refusal to accept this reality, tells me you don't know much about guns- and nothing about how difficult it is to rapidly fire a bolt-action rifle.
Until you do become educated on such things, you aren't worth talking to.

Whoever did it was one hell of a shooter. I wonder if JFK could have survived the bullet through the neck if the shot that blew his brains out had missed.

Is that what you always do when you are debating with a woman? Accuse her of not having a brain. :)
Lots of conspiracy theories debunked here - and my opinion is based on what I know, from what I have read and studied, including the Warren Commission report.
AND Lee Harvey Oswald's brother agrees with me. He's a man, btw.

These threads remind me of all the hoopla that came out after the movie "Titanic."
In the end, what does it matter? The ship sank, they're all dead.
Same with this situation - what does it matter? Kennedy is dead, there's no bringing him back.
We can debate and argue what happened that day, we can debate and argue what it might have been like if it had never happened - but that's an unknowable.
Somewhere, down another leg of the Trousers of Time - President Kennedy lived and the world is perfect, or maybe not. And what does it matter? We're here - not there.

People don't want to believe that ONE little man can change the course of history. But he can. And he did.

Yeah. Burn all those useless history books. Live as though the past had no effect on what we are as a nation today.

Burn all those useless history books. So - are we going to discuss the history that made our nation what it is? Or do you want to sit around and debate over shadows on a set of negatives?
My point - our nation changed because of Kennedy and because of his assasination - not because of the mechanics behind the event, but because of the event itself.
This thread, and so many others like it, obsesses over who did it, why they did it - not the effects that the President had on our national history.

Another woman who feels, but won't bother to think.Don't make this an issue of sex.
Gerald Posner thinks he ended the controversy with his book, denying a conspiracy.
