Interesting that they could stop a flight this way. Will this be how future hijackings will be handled, if they aren't in sight of their target?

I guess these new pilots are lost without their whiz-bang electronics. Compasses are passe.

I'm not entirely sure they can. I suspect the pilots used this as an excuse for not participating in a felony.

Although an F14 or a pickup team waiting at the arrival airport are other obvious choices.
