Are you asking me to give you cases of Muslims in Jail due to religious or terrorist practices?
I am trying to tell you that defending ISALM is defending henious acts that are illegal, and you still don't beleive it?

And here is where you are missing the point, Missy - I am not defending Islam per se - I am defending the rights of peopl ein this country, whether they be Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, whatever, to worship freely within THIS COUNTRY provided they adhere to the laws we have laid down.
You, on the other hand, are wanting to change the constitution, or ignore it all together, because you are afraid. That, my friend, is a liberal thing - you are willing to sacrifice everyone else's liberties in order to feel safe, and that makes you my enemy.

Missyme- I had another look at the constitution today and it is a powerful document. It is what makes us what we are. There is no denying it and those that we disagree with on this thread are correct in defending it.Sadly we have come to the point where we are torn between self preservation and common sense or following the laws which have given us and our forbearers the way of life that we enjoy as Americans. However, it would be wise to remember that strict adherence to our laws have led to some catastrhophic outcomes,(Think O.J.) Most of the people that we have been debating are people who have been here defending the constitution and arguing through muck like this long before we ever stumbled across this site, and I have a helluva lot of respect for them. So, while I admit admiration at your fierce defense of common sense, we must defer to that document which has given us a great chance at life and the right to try and snip at it's very corners and margins in order to make it fit our sense of well being. Its good that we cannot change it. Accept it, but keep one eye open.
