Last January we were praying for our premature granddaughter, who is now trying to walk!
Now I am asking for prayers for her father, our son-in-law George, who is facing extensive back surgery the day after Thanksgiving. His doctors plan to fuse three vertebra together, and remove the disks. They will have to make three incisions in a scheduled eight hour surgery. His recovery will require his staying in bed for at least a month. He will be allowed up for just 15 minutes per day, and to go to the bathroom. The kids can't afford to keep paying for their day care provider, and our daughter has no more time off left for the year. Because he works in construction, George has been told he must get another job! He has an associate degree but has never been able to find a job in his field. And to top it all off, he isn't sure he believes in God. Let's show him he can.

"And to top it all off, he isn't sure he believes in God. Let's show him he can."

Paul said to pray without ceasing.
I take that to mean that we don't have to be on our knees for God to hear our prayers.
I do it to worship Him and to show my subservience to Him, and I do it because it just feels better.
In George's case, he's going to find it difficult to get on his knees, but God will hear his prayers while he's lying flat on his back.

I pray that George will have God's protection and love during this surgery and through his recovery period.
God blesses us in spite of what we believe. All we have to do is accept His love.
Ask George to read the Logan thread while he's recovering.
There's no more vivid proof of God's love than that little boy.

Please keep us updated, Wiser.
M0sby will add George's name to our prayer list, and our prayer warriors have a proven track record of receiving the miracles for which they've asked.
Thank you for being here.
God bless you and your's in this time of trial.

We will pray for your son-in-law George.. not only for his well being with the surgery, but also his spirital well being. God does have His plans.... He will show George the way.

We also pray for your daughter and your precious granddaughter. And for you... it's awfully hard to see our love ones in need.

I'll be praying for George, too. And the baby is now walking? See?

OK everyone.....put down the cell phones while you're driving and pray instead. Keep your eyes open, though. Talk to GOD when you're driving. You don't even have those roaming fees when talking to Heaven.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the blessings of a granddaughter who has thrived .. may it now be so for George as he undergoes back surgery. Meet every need in this family, I pray .. and there are many, but You delight in blessing Your children. Restore the waivering faith that George has expressed .. turn doubt into triumph as this family sees You at work in their lives. Give strength and wisdom throughout this ordeal, a restoration to full health, and a place of employment that perfectly suits George. May it be thus, O God, in the Name of Jesus, Amen ...
