Please see below a note a received from Gitmo after asking if he would still like Jesse on the prayer list
I didn't want to post it with out his permission. I just got that permission.
This family has had a rough month. I will add the link at the next update

"Thank you so much. We've had a rough time this last month.

Jesse has had about 8-9 surgical procedures. He developed a post-op infection in his foot that they were just unable to knock out. He ended up losing a tendon in his foot to the infection, meaning he will have to wear a brace for "drop foot". He and I spent 3 weeks together in his hospital room.

My wife also had surgery during that time. Praise God, the biopsy was negative for cancer!

And on top of that, the DSS came out the day I brought Jesse home. He had some bruises on his leg when he went into the hospital. (He always has bruises on his legs.) They asked if I spank my boys, and I said I do. So I am being investigated by DSS.

I am so overwhelmed by the prayers that are surrounding us. Our church, or former church (from 13 years ago) and FR are flooding the Throne Room with prayers. I get choked up when I think about it."

Oh gitmo....what a time everyone has had! And bruises leading to being investigated? I REALLY am sick of all of this...
