Sounds like you have some problems with the article......I, too, noticed what may be a discrepancy. Gen. Tommy Franks was not, if I remember correctly, a "top commander in Operation Desert Storm." I believe that was Lt. Gen. Fred Franks, who commanded the VII Corps under Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf. (See Gen. Schwarzkopf's book, "It doesn't take a Hero.") Seems to be the wrong Gen. Franks. Wonder now about the quotes....are they accurate?
