Never mind, my last post to you....went back and looked at the message board.....I don't really care what they think at the paper. I am a Florida citizen and even if I wasn't I would still have the right to post comments on their board. I'm not a feminist but can't imagine why the women's rights groups aren't speaking out for Terri. I think that it is truly because the disabled have become shunned in our Victoria's Secret society.
It just goes to show that the Sentinel really doesn't want any more info on their board than what they 'agree with'. Maybe they're worried about bandwidth, something that FR doesn't seem to be concerned with.
What they don't understand is that there are also many Florida democrats who agree with Terri's law. Sign up for their group at yahoo and you'll see I'm telling the truth. Others have posted here that they have seen the same comments on Dem boards.
So I wonder, if I posted something 'Pro-Terri' and I had come from DU would the monitor have posted the same warning? LOL I don't think so......
I believe that the paper thinks this is a 'political' issue now, either conservative or liberal and it's not. And they don't have the investigative capacity to know that, or even half the info that those who have spent time here researching facts, statutes, etc. For that they ought to hang their heads in shame. The average housewife has become effective in news research. I wonder if the Sun Sentinel is using the research done here to write their stories, it's obvious they're watching us closely.......
