Until the atheist starts pondering how we got here and what is our purpose.
Why do we necessarily have a purpose?
Why couldn't an atheist ponder it, realise that he or she is never really going to figure it out, and move on to other things?

Why do we necessarily have a purpose? In order to run for office. : )

Why couldn't an atheist ponder it, realise that he or she is never really going to figure it out, and move on to other things? Then atheism would be shallow and irrational. :-)
