Won't be long before it's used in public among all age groups under 60. The decay of America continues. I am so sick of uncaring parents, animalistic teenagers. G*d; what has happened to us? What a fall from what we were 200 years ago. We had Mozart then: now we have rap trash. We'll be walking on our knuckles in a few more decades.

I would agree with you, if we were discussing a real standard of real morality. However, this linguistic delicacy is a moronic holdover of class-warfare imposed on the English language by the French after 1066 AD.
Sooner gone, the better.

The sad thing is --- people like to mock "Leave it to Beaver" and shows like that --- but if they were on kids and others would be watching television again. I have some VCR tapes of that show ALF ---- and those are played over and over --- they're always funny.

Last night my daugther was listening in the car (mom and I were talking to each other and not paying attention) and they said the F word four times. Finally, she spoke up and asked what was going on.

Even if I accept this premise, have we really slid so far since those hallowed days before William the Conqueror?

Seriously though; What's the big deal. It's just a word. Funny you should say that. I had a "Liberal" say those very words to me a few years ago. My reply? I said, "Well, 'nigger' is just a word, too. Is that OK to say in front of my children?"
The look on her face was priceless.

The sad thing is --- people like to mock "Leave it to Beaver" and shows like thatThat's because it doesn't fit into the agendas of the merchants of irresponsibility, and others that want to change *everything* about old America, all they way down to and including our National Anthem.
Some mock old shows like "Leave it to Beaver" because they didn't publicly promote and push sex, perversion, homosexuality, irresponsibility, they didn't glorify crime, or make the bad seem cool, lawlessness, drugs use, perversion and general chaos were not publicly pushed down everyone's throats back then.

What the F***?
Seriously though, don't get all panicky about it. Your kids probably hear this in school all day if they're not using the F-word themselves. I went to see a movie with my 16 year old nephew a few weeks ago. At one part of the movie he said, "Oh, man, he f***ed up big time."
I glared at him. He sheepishly said, "I mean, 'He messed up big time'". I'd rather he not use such crude language, but it doesn't make him a bad person. It's just a much more common word these days.
Maybe now I can understand what Ozzy is saying instead of having so many words beeped out. But then again, even without the beeps, I probably couldn't understand what Ozzy is saying. Nevermind.
