Where did the RPG's stuff come from?
Choppers are fine for certain conditions(lots of cover). Out in the open these things can be heard and seen far in advance.
Its one of the risks of using them.
Chopppers arent my favorite platform.
Even at night I have seen these things give away their position in the desert as they kick up sand which begins to glow in a large halo due to the piezoelectric effect of the silicon quartz crystals in the sand.
Prayers for the pilots and crews.

Where did the RPG's stuff come from?
First, if these are nmissiles, I'd bet these were Strellas or the French equivilent. Secondly,I'm not convinced it is not pilot error, yes, this does happen..
We shall see in any event.
