The fruitman is a Yemeni street vendor who has been selling fruit on the corner of Penn Station in NYC for almost two years. He has always been on that corner without fail. My commuting buddy and I always had a running joke going that if he ever wasn't on his corner that he probably got out of Dodge. We noticed that he wasn't there two Fridays ago, about the same time as the warning went out on the arab website for all muslims to get out of NY-DC-LA. He is a real old world looking, cleric-type (really creepy looking).
