You didn't answer the question: Which rights should citizens relinquish; and, how would losing each right help the "war" on terror? Common sense should tell you that the rights of US citizens are the only things that distinguish this Nation from any other. Common sense should also tell you that loss of those rights would not help the anti-terror effort even in the slightest.
The basic rights of citizens STRENGTHEN AND PRESERVE the Nation. They do NOT weaken the Nation.

What does "Conservative" mean to you? To me this means "conserving and preserving the fragile Constitutional Republic" in which we live. Common sense should tell you that you cannot destroy the very essense of this Nation in order to preserve it.

Why do you suppose that basic rights must be surrendered in order to secure the Nation? This is simply not the case. Prudent physical security can be accomplished without degredation of the rights of citizens. To surrender your rights for any reason whatsoever is to betray the Founders and the Continnental Army and all of the soldiers that shed blood throughout history to preserve those rights.
It is far better to die free than to die in chains. Your rights keep you out of chains.
