I'm a college student and a Republican. My parents were raised Catholic and Methodist, both Republicans. Neither one of them ever switched party loyalties, and they raised me Baptist and Republican. And I have remained steadily Republican since I was old enough to know the difference.
Of course, my parents never shoved me around or told me what to do. I never rebelled, but that's only because I never had anything to rebel against. :)
