IMHO all these sidetracks about other issues are just soundbites for the dems in future election ads they will use on how the GOP wouldn't let them "go to work for the people". I watched corzine last night ask for "the 4th time to stop the filibuster and read and vote on the minimum wage increase" or almost word for word

If they want to work for the people to increase the minimum wage, the U.S. Congress is not the place to do it. This is a reserved power of the states and the people.

I would like to see the pro-life judges approved, but if this filibuster is stopping unconstitutional, socialistic legislation, something good is coming out of it.

At least the confirmation hearings are Constitutionally-authorized business of Congress.
