I repeat my earlier claim that the Senate is a rogue body no longer accountable to anyone.

Seems to me whats going on has alot to do with straying from the constitution's simple 51 majority and playing around with a 60% of those present.

Who came up with this idea that strays so far from the document they took an oath to follow? And what spineless Republican agreed to go along with these rules?

Now there is this scramble to get back to the Consitution that never should have been left. There needs to be a mechanism in place that is automatic. When some shifty eyed politician makes such a suggestion to change the rules
of the Constitution, he must automatically go before a jury of his peers, made up of registered independents, who can fire him for injury to his oath.
