Kuhl : 53 - 43 (4 not voting, Edwards, Kerry, Nelson (FL) & Inouye)
Brown : 53 - 43 (4 not voting)
Democrats who prefer to hold an up or down vote are Nelson and Miller, otherwise the vote breaks down exactly on D/R party lines.

Also our Senators shined the spotlight on the truth that shall be on the record as well. They didn't stoop down to the dimwits level, rather they did it with class.
The best analogy I can come up with is it was like watching a Southern Gentleman debating a stuck up rich prick who thinks he's better then anyone else.
Bravo to our side, they may have not won the war for these Judges but they did win an important battle.
That's what I'm saying. They gave us a HUGH amount of series ammunition that we can use against them for the next dozen election cycles.
"Your tongue will dig your grave." -The Ten Commandments
That's the Presidential Candidate position. That way, they can claim I didn't participate in the filibuster of Judicial Nominees and they can say I didn't vote for them. Depending on the audience of course.

This idea was hatched in a strategy session with some weasely attorneys from People for the American Way, NARAL, NOW, etc. If I remember, the idea that you could filibuster the judge nomination came from a law professor from an Ivy League university.
Wasn't that the law professor that Hellary asked to be allowed on the Senate floor during the Estrada debates?
