What are the vulnerable Southern Dems holding an election in 12 months? Those are ones that will vote for closure - because the Dems have about 6 votes to spare.

Oh, it was beautiful. She had a right little tantrum. So flustered she could hardly string a sentence together, and when she did it made no sense. She also came out and said that the Dems were filibustering! Which our side (I believe Norm Coleman) jumped on immediately.

dang, you mean I gotta get up and turn down the TV? Could you hear the effort in that.
To: abner
yeah. no real effect. i'm hoping that in a sudden burst of testosterone the republicans now turn to the nuclear option of recess appointments of some people who the democrats would lose hair over. and maybe some other stuff, such as making sure that the blue states are put on a non-pork diet. rush has pointed out that the democrats don't know how to behave like a minority, and he's right -- but we don't know how to act like a majority, either. time to take the gloves off. will we?

you can take that to the bank. If the situation were reversed, the Dems would have already done the rule change in the first week.
To: SandyInSeattle
Ralph King watch 32 hours of the debate. Can any of you beat that?
