Was she a former school teacher? Reminds me of an elementary teacher the way she talks

I think she is a former social worker. Well, maybe "former" isn't the right word given her view of what her job as Senator should be.

Why oh why are the dem women so butt ugly and the GOP women are very nice looking. Maybe that slouch in Hillery's posture comes from ducking in the trailor door.

If they want to work for the people to increase the minimum wage, the U.S. Congress is not the place to do it. This is a reserved power of the states and the people.

I would like to see the pro-life judges approved, but if this filibuster is stopping unconstitutional, socialistic legislation, something good is coming out of it.

At least the confirmation hearings are Constitutionally-authorized business of Congress.

I request that the title of the thread be changed. This is not a Filibuster, it is a debate. It is the Dems who have in essence "filibustered" the President's nominees.

The best thing about being a FReeper (aside from the wonderful company here) is that we are the ones who get asked questions about the government. Thus, we get the chance to engage debate anywhere and educate those who don't know of such things.

I love it!

She wants to Ninth Circuit to be split up (I would assume she wants Alaska out of it...with good reason).

I think he went to the roof to take a call from an NBC affiliate in Florida. It is very, very dangerous there.

I heard a woman on RUsh this a.m. saying about the same thing, as long as they are talking they aren't passing more giveways

The 9th Circuit doesn't speak with one voice, thus it sits in panels. Okay, I see where she's going.
