Was she a former school teacher? Reminds me of an elementary teacher the way she talks.
To: Miss Marple
Michigan's representation has certainly declined since the loss of Spence Abraham.

What a ditz! (Stabenow) Snowmobiles are the least of her worries. If her friends don't stop dissing the SUVs & hummers & get their way with the pollution standards, there will be more people out of work in Michigan.
Sure wish the Dems would have the guts to stick to the subject. Sigh.

J-DAM, things are smokin' in Baghdad today!!!!!!
To: RandallFlagg

Indeed. How does increasing the minimum wage help someone that doesn't have a job?

Not a good thing when you're on the receiving end of this.

In her rationale, apparently to buy a second home up there in Michigan!
To: Republican Wildcat
Dodd the moron up.
Dodd's phone number: (202) 224-2823
And now for our further amusement, a Dodd-ering old fool.
Dodd talking about Stabinow's tremendous contribution to the Senate. What? In gross tonnage? Thanks her
immenseity immensely. ;-)

I don't think it does. I'd venture to say that if a company starts having to pay a higher minimum wage then they will have to either fire some workers or raise the prices on their products.
I.E. More lost jobs they can blame on our side.
