I understand your point. We can only hope that the President has enough info on her that he can keep her out of the White House. Time will tell. I just want to make freepers aware that sitting back and hoping for the best or deciding not to vote or vote third party is just not an option.

THANKS!

Democrats' battle plan is starting to take shape, with five main objectives. Neutralize Mr. Bush's national-security edge by fanning doubts about his Iraq policy. Craft economic attacks that can work even if the economy keeps improving. Dent the president's reputation for honesty and competence. Mobilize Democratic partisans in 17 states that Mr. Bush barely won or lost in 2000. And maneuver around the new campaign-finance law by redirecting now-banned big donations away from the Democratic Party to a new set of groups that will coordinate attacks on Mr. Bush.

Mainstream America? This is the new catch phrase of the Dems to change what is the norm in America.

The PC phrase - and, of course, the elite Dems are the ones that determine what the "mainstream America" is.

We have to come back and say - America is for all Americans - not just those the dems say are mainstream.

Murray has worked to increase the investment in community and migrant health care centers by $200 million over the past three years.

“Community health centers provide quality and affordable health care for all Washington residents, regardless of their ability to pay,” Murray said. “While my colleagues in Congress and I work to address the crisis of the uninsured, it is important to continue to support these important health care providers. Millions of Americans rely on heath care centers for the care their families need and I will continue to work to help expand their services.”

The following Washington state health centers will receive federal funding:

Colville Confederated Tribes (Nespelem) $541,667

Family Health Centers (Okanogan) $100,000

Sea Mar Community Health Center (Seattle) $806,000

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic $150,000

Country Doctor Community Clinic (Seattle) $40,000
TOTAL - $1,637,667

The funds are expected to be released on September 1, 2003.

Wasn't that the whole idea behind CFR to elliminate that sort of thing? Yeah, right, it was just to shield it from the public eye further.

July 15, 2003

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.) today announced the release of $876,942 in federal grants to the Seattle King County Public Health Department through the Ryan White Title IV Program. The funding will provide medical treatment and support services for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS who lack health insurance and financial resources.

As a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Murray is a strong supporter of the Ryan White Care Act, which she worked to reauthorize in 2000. In 2002, Murray secured $5.9 million for Ryan White Care Act funding for King County and voted to increase federal funding for the Act by $103 million. Murray is also an advocate to increase federal funding to cover the costs of expensive AIDS drugs.

I WONDER WHY THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT THE FEDERAL BUDGET?! /sarcasm
