Thank you, everyone, for your continuing prayers. I've delayed posting an update because I was waiting to report some good news, but so far there isn't any. Marilyn is still hospitalized ... in her sixth week now. We're still hoping for the best, but she is so sick and so weak.
She's become disoriented and thinks she's a character in a horror movie: that the staff is going to spirit her away in the middle of the night and use her organs for transplants. It doesn't help that one of the nurses looks like the nurse from Stephen King's "Misery".
I think she realizes how ill she is because she has asked me to find good homes for her eight cats, dog and, horse.
