can a muslim convert be head of the Church of England and Kind of England??

I hope not.

This is another of a long line of stories that is causing me to think the UK is going to go down the crapper along with all of europe.

The coronation ceremony requires that the King be in Communion with the Church of England, he must swear to preserve the Established Chruch of England, and must swear to uphold the Protestant succession. One of the titles of the King of England is Defender of the Faith.

So if Charles has converted to Islam then he cannot take the oath for the Kingdom of England. To do so would be blasphemy against Allah. To refuse to take the oath would disqualify him from taking the throne. It would pass to his son.

The monarch in England is also the "Defender of the Faith" (ever since Henry VIII) and that faith is not Allah.
