Sarbanes and Mikulski are Maryland's U.S. Senators, who are presently attempting to block the judicial nomination of Claude Allen. The Sun's cartoonist, KAL, was reminded of Gandalf and the Balrog.
Here's my alternate caption: "A view of Senator Sarbanes' fantasy life."

Hilarious. I am reminded of the little Yorkie gatekeeper in The Labyrinth. "Nobody passes without my permission."

Who is Claude Allen? What is he being nominated for? I like keep up with most of the Judicial Nomimees and how the lefties screw them over. It's important to inform the public about this outrage.
