Many goods and services are purchased through telemarketers a year...to the tune of multi millions. I find it hard to believe that people are so busy that they can't tell a telemarketer (maybe 2-3 times a week) that they are not interested. I have purchased many goods and services through this outlet, and have saved alot of money vs. retail stores. I want to thank all the telemarketers I've done business with that I appreciate them.

Two to three times a week? That's all the calls you get? I got more than that in ONE DAY. At times that many within a couple of hours. Even with Caller ID, you still have to stop what you're doing and go to the 'phone to see who is calling. And I have NEVER purchased ANYTHING through a telemarketer.

On the other hand, I don't mind junk mail. In the first place, the sender is paying for it, not me. I do take time to look through my junk mail. I can do that at MY leisure, not someone else's. And I've bought plenty of things from the junk mail I've received. I would never buy anything from a telemarketer no matter how many times they called. And have stopped purchasing from any company that has had a telemarketer call me.
