Since it appears that she didn't pose nude for the purpose of publication, I do retract them. I commented with the understanding that they were taken prior to enlisting, not after her injuries.

But as for asking for fame - then she should go away and shut the hell up. Don't whine about having her resuce videotaped (which is not at all uncommon), don't whine about the Pentagon screwing up her story, etc. There's no record which she needs to be in the public eye to clean up. Very poor representative of our military.

She is according herself in a very poor fashion, when accusing the Pentagon and White House of all these things. Just on the premise that she is still 'shell shocked', she might have wanted to wait a few months before making any public comments.

There have been a lot of people on this board in the last two days ready to trash Lynch based on snippets of interviews or pieces of her book printed by liberal media jerks with agendas. The headlines alone should warn you that they're only trying to get a rise. I will not be foolish and bash a soldier without knowing the truth in context. If you wish to do that, go for it. I am willing to grant the pics of Jessica Lynch exist, but I still find it hard to believe, and think they may very well be much like the purported "video tape" you mention. No way that would not have ever made the rounds. Heck, if it was no secret the gal you know of had sex with two guys, then the video should have been around somewhere and shown up on base. And, I honestly think pics of Pvt. Lynch in all her glory would have shown up long before now.

We are probably going to just have to wait and see what, if anything, shows up.

Well call me harsh, but if that's the actual scenario, then I'm not buying. Larry Flynt could tell me it's a sunny day out and I'd still grab an umbrella until my own eyes told me it wasn't needed.
