She's doing (interview) Larry King too. (and Letterman) It was a little attempt at humor. Very little.

we can all take nekkid pictures....every freeper can use the extra money...can you see the headlines???RAGING REPUBLICANS CREATING HAVOC IN DOWNTOWN WASH D.C.......TENS OF THOUSANDS OF NEKKID FREEPERS CLOGGING TRAFFIC AS COPS TRY TO HAUL THEM AWAY,BUT CAN"T QUITE FIGURE OUT WHICH BODY PART TO HANDCUFF FIRST!!!!!!

Okay, granted the pics were taken....and how long before they would be all over the base? I don't mean come off as antagonistic, I'm just skeptical that someone as attractive as Pvt. Lynch would not have wound up in a lot of trouble over such pics. The pics were taken, no one knew about them, because they didn't get out until now? I just think it is very improbable.

I was wondering if they might be medical photos, after her return, to document injuries and the like.

BTW, this little ungrateful wench is exactly the reason why women do not belong in the military. Joined up never expecting combat.Got a source for that?
Sees action is obviously way over her head. Fortunate to survive and is rescued (I'm a soldier too - b.s. - just because you wear the uniform don't make you a soldier, lady). Gets out and writes a book and lands a movie
It wasn't her movie and she didn't cooperate-pretty sure there was no compensation
(wonder how much of that cash will be donated to the families of the dead soldiers),
As a matter of fact, she has set up a foundation for the children of her comrades which will benefit from the proceeds of her book sales.
then bitches about the Pentagon not getting her story straight.
I don't think her problem with the film was that it "wasn't getting her story straight."
Wonderful. Notice how the rest of the P.O.W.s aren't anywhere near t.v. right now?
Actually, I think some of them are appearing as guests of various talk shows and participating in "documentaries."
Now we see that she (apparently) posed topless for scumbag Flynt.
I haven't seen anything like that. According to the article, it's some pictures taken in barracks and it's questionable if it's even her. Don't think there was any posing for Flynt.
Shows her real character. Another po' white trash bursting through to the mainstream the scummy way.
Your character is shining through.

I am curious to understand how a person can have naked pics of themselves taken without their knowledge or agreement?--of course there is always the 'hole in the wall' trick but I am sure most of us will agree it is somewhat unusual for this type of story to 'pop-up' out of the blue--"Sometimes a girl can have pics made that were totally not her fault--"---give me a break---try some morality--you just might like it for a change
To: Lijahsbubbe
I wish her well and hope she comes out of this relatively undamaged. I also hope she makes tons of cash.
I think that the media has had plans to destroy her from the beginning though. It is too convienient a story for them to go after. Hometown girl turns POW, rescued, America's sweetheart, turns into Hustler girl...
Hey, it fits the Anti-American lefty agenda.

I was going to say something along those lines, but like any good fishman would, I thought I'd let that one go for someone else to catch when it got bigger :P

No thanks. It was too close a call seeing the commercials for that S&M comedy she did.

Now there is a thought...I think there is a good possibility these photos will be like the Anna Kournikova photos..heart pounding fabulous resemblance, but that's about it.

I think this is going to be much the same thing. A bunch of kids were skinny-dipping in a pool and some geek whipped out a camera.
Not posed shots, I'll bet. But they will probably be her, and Flynt will probably sell a lot of magazines.
Scumbag that he is.

Yes. I agree. So far there has been one TV movie that she had nothing to do with. One interview (yet to be aired) with a journalist that she probably grew up watching and respecting. And now a Vanity Fair interview that I don't know if it has been published yet. Most of the stuff we have heard about her has been from the media and the Pentagon. I understand what you are saying, and I agree the media is using her and will no doubt chew her up and spit her out by the time they are finished with her
But I have to admit, that I do have some problems with some of the things reported that she said.
I am grateful for her service to our country and I am sorry that she went through the things she did while in Iraq. But she seems to be blaming the army and the pentagon for most things being blown out of portion and the truth is .. it was the media that wrote those stories

We don't know where she gets her news. I bet it isn't FR. . .
I want to watch the interview with Sawyer so I can see how she says this stuff.
The biggest thing I don't understand is why she didn't "have the time" to meet the Iraqi lawyer.

How do we know that it was a male that took the pictures? My thoughts exactly. I wonder how much privacy these women have. My Marine husband slept several to a "tin" when he was deployed. It could be someone snapping pics while she was changing clothes. Or, maybe she did pose-who knows. A little foolish to jump to conclusions based on this article, though.

The biggest thing I don't understand is why she didn't "have the time" to meet the Iraqi lawyer. I've wondered about that too. Maybe she has a problem with all Iraqi men after what she's been through. It's not justified, but somewhat understandable. Maybe she needs time before she can handle a face to face meeting with the man.
