Prime conditions in east Tennessee...as clear as it ever gets in the south...the sky filled with stars during the totality phase. One drawback...some jack*ss car dealership was running spotlights all over the sky during the first part of the eclipse. Lights finally went out about 8:15 EST...I gather the dealership was the recipient of a few ugly phone calls. I'm in the market for a new car, but I know where I WON'T be buying one.
