The entire event will take place over about a five-hour period. But the total eclipse, the point when the moon, Earth and sun are precisely lined up, will last for only 24 minutes. That will take place at 8:06 PM (EST) (0100 UTC).

I did a search on "lunar" and "eclipse" and got nothing except some articles from back in August.
Perhaps the search function should be improved upon.

Doggone it! It is completely overcast and snowing in the nearby mountains here in north-eastern California. I won't be able to see a thing.
P.S. I love your home page, looks like you live in the boonies too.
To: tscislaw
That's all right. It'll probably be the astronomy pic of the day tomorrow.

Get off the computer and go outside! Thanks, I just ran outside to look at it. Clear as a bell here in northern Connecticut.

Kewl, it's all gone.
It was cloudy here but broke just enough to let me see it finally disappear. OoOooOoo!

AS of 7:20 in Central New Jersey, the moon was about 1/2 eclisped. Very clear night here, great view!

Frustrating. It's always got to be cloudy. Darn.

Too much cloud cover here in northern CA. But, here's a pic from the last one earlier this summer:

I HATE CLOUDSI've looked at clouds from both sides now...
It clear here (Connecticut). It's a little over half obscured. The dark area is darker than I expected.

Dubuque, Iowa: clear and cold, perfect viewing weather. About 3/5 eclipsed at 6:15 CST. Even a set of cheap binoculars will enhance the view quite a bit.
