[Jonah Johansen]

I read once that Ruth Bader Ginzberg's father was a member of the Communist Party. I have searched the Internet for information on him. There seems to be some kind of blackout of any but the most basic info on him.
Does anyone have a source or reference concerning his membership in the Communist Party?
