DO get the living will (or advanced health care directive), and in it make no bones about the fact that you object in the strongest possible terms to the "starvation therapy." These wills are not just used to will your death. They can also be used to will your life (God permitting).

Good point. What's worrisome are the interpretational differences .... docs vs. family ... 'cause it happens.
