Me too. Lawyers and courts get all caught up in procedures and petty questions and forget all about justice. Then they call it due process so that the constitutional guarantees of life and liberty (Fifth Amendment) are satisfied. The victim is deprived of life, but that's OK, she had her day in court and the lawyers made lots and lots of money.
