***"The Memo": When Fox News Serves The Country***
Stardate: 0311.6
Posted on 11/06/2003 4:27:11 AM PST by The Wizard
It must be said that Fox News has truly served our country by exposing this memo for all to see......
Those who try to fault Fox, (because it's blowing everyone off the tube, really) because it doesn't use the NY Slimes as it's ONLY source to decide what is and what isn't news, has forced others in the media to deal with the fact that there is now a whole in the wall of lies and propaganda that was built by Time/Life, (originally to "sell" the "Oswald did it" Warren Report).
Matt Drudge, Fox News and the internet.....flash to the NY Slimes: You are no longer the paper of record.....

I think that better explains Zell's attitude in this whole mess than anything else!

Yes, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next year and 5 days.
Methinks a lot will happen.

I doubt this begins and ends with Rockefeller, though. And even if he were to resign that might leave a lot more problems still in place. That committee is now useless to my mind. All of it.

The story is dead. As long as Frist is in charge, this type of scandal will continue unabated. And who can blame the Democrats for continuing the guerilla tactics? The GOP has demonstrated time and again their unwillingness to stand up to the MINORITY party..

The story is NOT dead! We can keep it alive, and we ought to--WE are the GOP!
Rockefeller MUST resign!
AdMod--Can I start a thread calling for Rockefeller's resignation? Can we start a movement RIGHT HERE?

And I guarentee you, if this was done by a GOP Senator, the haedlines would be a mile high and on every rag and TV show..... What you say is so true. Look at the media attention to Donald Rumsfelds leaked memo 2 weeks ago as proof.

Im very frustrated. No one is responding. Its on Fox right now, but no one else has covered it. Thats because, IMHO, that the GOP hasnt hammered this issue. They will cave on this just like they caved on Pickering, Owens and allowing Estrada to quit in the face of yet another MINORITY filibuster.. Let me know, JA, what you do. I will help anyway I can..

I just saw a poll on FoxNews front page about this memo, about whether or not it was right for Dems to use intel against the president in 2004.
77 Percent said NO! It is NOT right!
I want to start a thread calling for Rockefeller's resignation. I've never started a vanity before, and I don't know if I have to check with the AdMod first or not, or what to put in the dang fields, or what.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'll be here all day to work the thread.

Any chance on someone telling E.D what the heck Birth Control is? Why? If she wants them, and can afford them, it is her business. Is she supposed to have an abortion instead?

Washington Times:
Memo infuriates senatorsIt is the fifth story down online, and if I saw correctly on C-SPAN's Washington Journal, it was top-left on the front page of the ODT version.
