Here is an interesting squibb. In looking at the outdated county results, I did notice that Musgrave was getting 61% in Marshall County, with 22 out of 24 precincts counted, which matches Gore's total, when Gore lost the state by 17%. Where is Marshall County?

It's in north MS next to DeSoto County. I think it is majority black, but it getting whiter as people move there out of Memphis.

Marshall County is next to De Soto County, a GOP friendly place. Both counties are in the MS-01, the bellwhether of MS politics.

Marshall now all in with Musgrave getting 62%, just barely ahead of Gore. Nothing from Rankin in the totals, but little from Hinds either. Barbour still running well ahead in Bellwether Warren, but many precincts there still out. I would say from all of this, that we are very close to calling Barbour the winner.
