There will be a special Congressional election to fill the KY-06, now that Dr. Fletcher is the new Governor of KY.

Isn't that a marginal district with Lexington. Please tell me that Scotty gun grabber Basler isn't going to try and make a comeback.

I don't think Scotty will make a comeback anytime soon-his wife just lost the Secretary of Agriculture race to former U.K. basketball player Richie Farmer(Republican).

Bush carried the KY-06, 55% - 42% in 2000. The district is no slam dunk for either party. Scott Baesler is finished. He sunk like a stone in the polls when he advocated gun control in 2000.
