As I said in another post, I was afraid of that. But what was the reason for the bugging? Has any more information come out about it? Just curious.

What I heard on the FR board was that it was discovered that it was the Police Chief who had the bug planted. His son is in the FBI, and his specialty just happens to be wiretapping.

The reason for the bugging hasn't been revealed. All we know is that there has been an investigation going on into Philadelphia government "pay to play" political favors for the past 2 years. Some of the Street family's financial records have been seized and several of Street's cronies have had their businesses raided. A GJ was convened a couple of weeks ago to hear evidence but the result of that has not been revealed.
There is speculation that the Philly press is sitting on a pile of reports which will go into print as soon as the election is over.

Just curious."Not sure but, they can in took all the Mobile County (Ala) school construction records as part of this same investigation. The FBI got six years of records.
