I predict Zell Miller will be heading up a national organization of "Democrats for Bush 2004" and would do more good doing that than switching parties.

He could go into all the states that were close in 2000. His Democrat credentials are not debatable. Some of the Dem candidates can't say that.

Miller is the perfect "I didn't leave the Dem Party, the party left me" to campaign to the conservative Dems in the South and to Independents.

I agree...bring those Reagan Democrats back into the fold. This will help in Penn, Wisconsin, Michigan, etc.

maybe Zell will campaign for Bush and than Bush wins and Zell joins Bush in the administration. You know, bipartisan...
