I love to be on the mountaintop when it's around zero and the winds are howling and a nice bunch of snow. My absolute favorite time to be there.

You'd love the UP of Michigan then.

Camped on Superior in August of 98 near Ironwood....hit 34 that morning....I don't know how anyone swims in that lake.

Appalachian arctic weather in the South is simply micro climate at it;s best....go down a few 1000 feet and it all gets back to normal.

But, yes i do like it.
