President Bush in San Diego

I'm watching the local news coverage of MY president here in San Diego. He visited families in Harbison Canyon where some of the homes were destroyed in the fire. He was hugging them and comforting them and to me, it was very sincere. He made the right decision to come here. We're now awaiting his speech to the fire fighters at Gilespe Field......

When President Bush visited San Diego earlier this year to declare the end of the heavy bombing in Iraq, I really hoped to see AF1, but I didn't get to see it.

Today, I didn't even know it was going to fly, so the sight was a very pleasant surprise.

I'm glad to join the "club" of people who've seen it. I can't wait for the Ronald Reagan Library to showcase the old Air Force One!
