I don't really think God created evil. I do think He defines it and without Him it wouldn't exist -- there would just be pain, suffering, hate and fear. It would all just part of nature without those inflicting them having to fear being judged.

I think God created choice. He created Satan as something good but Satan chose to do evil. He created man as something good but man chose to trust Satan.

To rectify things God, Himself, had to come to earth and suffer for us.

The greatest value, the most profound aspect of our existence is love. The epitomy of evil is the hatred of love.
