http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/news/123103-airlinearrest.html Arrest at Philadelphia Airport
Dec. 31, 2003 28-year-old John King of Lithonia, Ga was arrested while trying to board Delta Airlines Flight bound for Atlanta.
Travel Safety Administration employees noticed something suspicious at the checkpoint.
Philadelphia police were then called in.
That's when a novelty lighter King carried yielded a switchblade knife.
King claimed he got it for a gift and forgot he had it.
King had been charged with a federal offense..Carrying a Prohibited Weapon onto an Aircraft.
He spent the night behind bars and was released this morning on his own recognizance.

I worked with FEMA guys during the Y2K thing when I was inspecting and improving nuke plants and electrical grids.
Keep in mind, most all of them came in under Clinton and are still clintonites at heart.
I trust them no more than I do the BATFE.

Actually Islam has it's end-times prophecies too. It's been a long time since I've read them but they are detailed mostly in the hadith as I recall, and not in the Quran, although some of it certainly is in the Quran. It's pretty scary, graphy hellfire and brimstone stuff. Not for the faint of heart.
What I find intriguing about Islam is the concept of the "Satanic verses". (Salman Rushdie borrowed that term when he wrote the novel that triggered the infamous fattwa on his life.) The Satanic verses were originally believed to be part of the Quran but were later determined to have been inspired by Satan instead of Allah. The question that always got me into a LOT of trouble every single time I asked it was "then how does one know which verses were of Satanic inspiration and which were of divine inspiration." The response I was always given was that the distinction was handed down in the hadith.
I'm sure there are people here who have a much stronger knowledge of Biblical history than I, but I don't recall any of the Biblical prophets receiving Satanic revelations. In fact, I thought the test of a true prophet was that they ONLY spoke the word of God.
Anyway I digress. This passage you refer to could be one of the many Islamic tracts out there that are purely Islamic recruitment and educational tracts, it could be a message, or it could be both.
In other words, I have no clue. But hey - I contributed a trivia question for the day!

Revelation 6:8 "And I looked and behold a pale (original greek is khloros meaning green) horse, and his name that sat on him was Death and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hungar, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."
Isn't Islam associated with green somehow? Don't they use that color for their flags?
The word sword in the context of these scriptures means war.

I ran IP traces on EOM posts going back to just before Christmas on about seven different IP's. The one you have here would be number 8 which i also just ran.
All resolve to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

That's interesting. Green is the color of the Islamic flag.
And the horse. When I read that posting about the neigh of the horses I was thinking the horsemen of the apocalypse.
Hunger, death, beasts of the earth... some sort of attack on the food supply perhaps?

Maybe this refers to your earlier comments (in 6781 was it?) on the "present for the feast in the neigh of the horses".

exactly, beasts of the earth could also mean biological WMD

the "Satanic verses". (Salman Rushdie borrowed that term when he wrote the novel that triggered the infamous fattwa on his life.) That all seems such a long lifetime ago. How little I knew then about what concerns us all today.

"a racetrack?"
Very interesting...Belmont is in NYC. There were some wealthy Saudi's who hightailed it outta here after 9/11 down in the Blugrass country...they owned racehorses.

Is there any significance to that

I also think we are about to see the fulfillment of Revelation chapter 9. Without quoting the whole chapter, I'll take these two verses, 17 " And thus I saw the horses in the vision and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth and brimstone, and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions, and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. vs.18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths."
This is no doubt nuclear.
