No, actually, the Jewish population of Italy in 1933 was 50,000. 40,000 survived. I see. So the ratio is 40000/6000000 rather than 6000/6000000. Now I feel better.

Actually, the number of Jews saved throughout Europe by actions ordered and/or aided by the Pope, as noted by an eminent Israeli scholar with the most access to the truth, is 700,000-860,000.
But I'm certain you already knew this. You just can't help but spin to make the Church look bad. Agenda much?
