Not with a Mannlicher Carcano for a weapon. This is the epitome of inaccuracy.

Ahem, actually no, these types of rifles were used by the Italian Olympic team, and are certainly NOT the epitome of inaccuracy that they have been made out to be.

This too was the long barrel version not the carbine as I understand.

The ones I have handled lately certainly seem capable of making a shot like this in the hands of a skilled shooter.

Graf & Son is now making a commercial soft point round for the carcano.

Ahem, actually I was referring to the manufactureers name and not the model. But if you insist, by all means, he did it and with the rifle shown in the photograph of it being held up by a member of the team that found it.
