Then I'd list him as "good." He'll probably stay in the hospital overnight, maybe another day, to make sure that he is really stable and he'll be able to go home to recover.
Funny thing is the off-duty reserve sheriff's deputy is also an attorney. I just know I haven't seen a flying tackle like that in a heck of a long time--he got him down, got his hands out of his pockets (and he did have a 2nd gun), others got in the act to make sure he stayed down, they got him cuffed and off he went.
