This poor sap who got shot, however, was the trustee's lawyer, not the shooter's.

I don't know what ails the shooter, but the type of trust was a special needs trust, and I suspect his parents set money aside for the care of their fruitcake, or possibly spendthrift/addict son.

It will be interesting to get more information...
