...even though [Republicans] control the Senate, they can not get conservative judicial appointees through committee.

They get the nominees through committee just fine now that they're the majority. But thanks to the filibuster they don't "control" the Senate.

I deal in results, not rhetoric...the results are the same...a weak wristed Republican leadership not quite up to doing battle in the trenches and zero new judicial appointments.
