What aspects of Phil Crane's voting record do you consider to be liberal?

I owe you an apology. Nothing at all wrong with Phil's voting record -- ACU rating of 100 in 2001 and 2002 with a lifetime rating of 99. Outstandlingly conservative. But Phil has failed to take the reins and show any real leadership in pushing the conservative agenda. I know he's suffered from personal problems, but still, I'll be happy when he packs it up and calls it a day.

So will I, and it isn't because of his voting record. Crane votes exactly how I like him to vote; that is why I voted for him in every election I could.

Crane does have personal problems and should retire because of this. To be fair, Crane's drinking problems didn't start until after his daughter died of cancer at a young age. But he shouldn't be trying to fix the nation when he needs attend to his own personal affairs, etc.
