One of my friends is a musician/composer.. she composed & did the play Compassion that has spread all over from its beginnings about 15 years ago.. She has taken the yearly passon play each year to one "exciting" place.. past couple years include NYC; paris, toronto..
One of the scenes has about my favorite music in the play.. It is John the baptist with the crowds & then Jesus coming.. It is Repent.. spirited wonderful.
If you ever get a chance to see Compassion do it.. and if any of you can make it next spring to Ohio to see Becky in person , do it. She plays Mary, mother of Jesus.. about half time in the cleveland run. It goes for about 6 weekends at different churches in NE Ohio.. for 3 nights usually each weekend.
Lots of time/ committment on part of cast .. of hundreds.. including many children.. with performances & the rehersal schedules afterwards..
and Yea, repetance is VERY GOOD>>.

You are so fortunuate to have the opportunity to see the play Compassion in your area. I can only hope that something like that comes around my way, which is unlikely since I live in the sticks!
Thanks for describing it though, it sounds wonderful!
