No disrespect to the FFers, but does anyone think it's weird that the whole firefighting operation just sort of shuts down for the night at sundown?

I mean, I know some of them are still working, but nothing like during the day.

But the fire rages all night...

Pretty dangerous to go running around steep hills and cliffs in the dark.

From my brief experience fighting fire on a neighbors farm for three days & nights non stop, the nature of fire changes considerably after sunset. Not sure why or how but it does.
